Protexin Bio-Kult Infantis - 16 sachets

Protexin Bio-Kult Infantis is a live bacteria supplement for infants and young children, supplied as 16 single-dose sachets. Each sachet provides seven strains of live bacteria together with omega-3 (DHA and EPA) and vitamin D3.

Contains fish. May contain traces of soya and milk. See the allergen information below before use.

Usage

Mix half to one sachet daily into your child’s milk, water or food, making sure it is not hot. For younger babies you may prefer to start with a quarter of a sachet. If breastfeeding, the powder can be applied to the nipple or given directly into the child’s mouth. Can be stored at room temperature. Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Q: Does it need refrigerating?
A: No. It can be kept at room temperature.

Q: What age is it suitable for?
A: It is formulated for infants and young children. If your baby is newborn, premature, or has any medical condition, speak to your health visitor or GP before starting any supplement.

A minimum of 1 billion micro-organisms is guaranteed throughout the shelf life, consisting of the following strains:

• Bifidobacterium breve PXN 25
• Bifidobacterium infantis PXN 27
• Lactobacillus acidophilus PXN 35
• Lactobacillus casei PXN 37
• Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. bulgaricus PXN 39
• Lactobacillus rhamnosus PXN 54
• Streptococcus thermophilus PXN 66

Also contains: FOS (fructooligosaccharide); gum acacia; DHA and EPA powder (omega-3 fatty acid from fish) — at least 1mg per sachet; vitamin D3 2.5mcg.

Bio-Kult Infantis is made with fish and may contain traces of soya and milk. Do not give to a child with a known or suspected allergy or intolerance to any of these.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children. If any adverse reaction occurs, stop use and consult a doctor. Speak to your health visitor, pharmacist or GP before giving this or any supplement to an infant, particularly if your child is under medical supervision or taking any medication.
